Run your Teams meetings from Oversite.
Connect your Microsoft account once, then create Microsoft Teams meetings without leaving Oversite.
The Microsoft Teams integration connects your Microsoft work or school account to Oversite. Once it is connected, you can create a Teams online meeting from any Oversite meeting, and Oversite generates the join link, sends the calendar invite, and keeps the meeting on the project. After the call, the transcript and the notes come back to the same record, so what was decided lives with the project instead of in someone's inbox.
The meeting happens in Teams. The record does not.
Coordination calls, agency check-ins, and contractor reviews run through Teams. What gets decided on them rarely makes it back to the project file.
Notes live in inboxes
Action items and decisions from a call land in someone's personal notes or a follow-up email, not on the project they affect.
Two places to schedule
You set the meeting up in Teams, then track it somewhere else. A time changes in one place and not the other, and attendees get the wrong invite.
Transcripts get lost
The Teams recording and transcript sit in a chat thread. Months later no one can find what a contractor actually committed to.
Connect once. Meet from Oversite.
Connect your account
A company admin signs in with Microsoft and consents for the organization. The Microsoft Teams card in Settings then shows Connected, with the account and the date.
Create the meeting
Turn on Create Teams meeting when you schedule. Oversite generates the join link and dial-in, and Microsoft sends every attendee a calendar invite.
Keep the record
Mark the meeting complete and the transcript comes back to Oversite. Email the notes and action items to everyone who attended, internal or external.
01. Create a Teams meeting without leaving the project.
Connect your Microsoft account once from Settings. After that, every new meeting carries a Create Teams meeting toggle. Turn it on and Oversite books the Teams online meeting, attaches the join link and dial-in, and adds it to your calendar. The meeting moves to Scheduled, and attendees get a calendar invite with the link.
02. Change it in Oversite. The calendar keeps up.
Edit the time, the agenda, or the attendee list on the Oversite meeting and the linked calendar event updates to match. Cancel the meeting and Oversite removes the Teams event and the calendar invite, then notifies everyone. You manage the meeting in one place, not two.
03. The transcript and notes land on the record.
Mark a Teams meeting complete and Oversite retrieves the transcript from Microsoft and saves it to the meeting, ready to read by speaker and timestamp. Write up the notes and action items, then email them to every attendee in one click. If you have sent them before, the button offers to resend and shows when they last went out.
Microsoft Teams, answered.
What is the Microsoft Teams integration in Oversite?
It is a connection between your Microsoft work or school account and Oversite. Once connected, you can create Microsoft Teams meetings from an Oversite meeting, send calendar invites with a join link, and bring the meeting transcript and notes back into the project. It is optional, and every other Oversite feature works without it.
How do I connect Microsoft Teams to Oversite?
Open Settings, select Integrations, and on the Microsoft Teams card click Connect Microsoft Teams. Sign in with your Microsoft account and approve access. A company admin can consent on behalf of the organization so the integration is available to the whole team.
Whose calendar is the Teams meeting created in?
The meeting is scheduled from the Microsoft account used to create it, and that account shows as the organizer. Attendees receive a calendar invite with the join link.
Can I invite people outside my company?
Yes. Add external attendees by email. They get the calendar invite and the Teams join link even though they are not part of your Microsoft organization, and you can email them the meeting notes afterward.
When does the meeting transcript appear?
After you mark a Teams meeting complete, Oversite retrieves the transcript from Microsoft. It can take a few minutes, and it is only available if the meeting was recorded and transcribed in Teams. Transcript retrieval runs only for meetings created as Teams meetings.
What happens to my Teams meetings if I disconnect?
Disconnecting stops you from creating new Teams meetings. Meetings you already created keep their join links and calendar events.
