Live Weather Integration brings the forecast and recorded weather for a project's exact location into Oversite. A five-day forecast sits on the project and group dashboards, the conditions for the site and date load onto each daily inspection, and a Weather Days report totals the days you have logged. Because the forecast keys off the coordinates saved on the project address, the record reflects conditions at the site, not a weather station miles away.

A five-day forecast sits on every project and group dashboard, keyed to the site's own coordinates. Each day shows the high and low, the expected conditions, and a warning on the days that look poor for outdoor work. Hover any day for the chance of precipitation, humidity, wind, and the sunrise and sunset times.

Open the Basics step of a daily inspection and the weather for that site and date loads on its own. You get the day's temperature range in Fahrenheit and three snapshots at 6 AM, noon, and 6 PM, each with conditions, humidity, wind, and precipitation. Set the Weather Day toggle when weather affected the work, add notes, and it saves with the inspection. It works offline and syncs on reconnect.

The Weather Days report lists each day you recorded as a weather day, with the inspector, the DWR it came from, and the notes. It counts distinct days on approved and completed inspections, then sets that count against the calendar days approved change orders added to the completion date. Run it for one project or a whole group, and export to PDF or CSV.

What is Live Weather Integration?

It is the part of Oversite that pulls the forecast and observed conditions for a project's exact location into the app. The forecast shows on the project and group dashboards, the conditions load onto each daily inspection, and a Weather Days report totals the days you have logged.

Where does the weather come from?

From the location saved on the project or group address. Oversite looks up the conditions for that latitude and longitude, so the reading reflects your site rather than a general area or a distant station.

What weather does a daily inspection capture?

The day's temperature range and three time-of-day snapshots at 6 AM, noon, and 6 PM, each with conditions, humidity, wind, and precipitation. You also set a Weather Day toggle and write notes. Temperatures are shown in Fahrenheit.

What is a weather day, and what is the Imbalance Count?

A weather day is a day you marked as affected by weather on an inspection. The Imbalance Count is the recorded weather days minus the calendar days that approved change orders added to the completion date. A positive number means you have logged more weather days than the time extensions granted so far.

Which inspections count toward the Weather Days report?

Only approved or completed inspections. Weather days are counted by calendar date, so two inspections on the same day count once.

Does capturing weather work offline?

Yes. The weather day flag, the notes, and the conditions captured before you went offline save with the inspection and sync when you reconnect.
